4/30/2025,光纖在線訊,精彩紛呈的OFC 2025剛剛在美國(guó)舊金山落下帷幕。此次OFC大會(huì)展示出數(shù)據(jù)中心應(yīng)用在未來(lái)光網(wǎng)絡(luò)和人工智能領(lǐng)域日益占據(jù)主導(dǎo)地位,光互聯(lián)行業(yè)迫切需要突破性技術(shù)、前瞻性規(guī)劃,以及全球化的部署與合作。從高速計(jì)算短距光互聯(lián)的方向看,單通道224G技術(shù)已經(jīng)初具商用能力,而單通道448G技術(shù)則成為業(yè)界積極探索的熱點(diǎn)之一。
下一個(gè)熱點(diǎn)產(chǎn)業(yè)活動(dòng)是2025年4月29~30日在愛(ài)爾蘭都柏林主辦的OCP EMEA 2025大會(huì),在本次OCP區(qū)域峰會(huì)上,IPEC國(guó)際光電委員會(huì)與OCP攜手舉辦Workshop研討會(huì),共同探討AI集群和數(shù)據(jù)中心對(duì)光互聯(lián)不斷變化的需求。

Workshop主題
本次會(huì)議主題為“Optical Interconnects for AI Clusters & Data Centers: From Today to 400G/Lane – Workshop hosted by IPEC”。IPEC國(guó)際光電委員會(huì)的目標(biāo)是制定開(kāi)放的光電子標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和戰(zhàn)略路線圖,而開(kāi)放計(jì)算項(xiàng)目 (OCP) 則致力于推動(dòng)可擴(kuò)展數(shù)據(jù)中心基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的開(kāi)放硬件創(chuàng)新。因此,本次研討的重點(diǎn)議題包括Scale Up和Scale Out網(wǎng)絡(luò)、新興技術(shù)形態(tài)(CPO、NPO、LPO)、如何有效降低成本、電互聯(lián)轉(zhuǎn)向光互聯(lián)的臨界點(diǎn)、400G/Lane 等高速解決方案以及其他創(chuàng)新方向。
本次會(huì)議還將重點(diǎn)介紹 IPEC 最新的以人工智能為重點(diǎn)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)計(jì)劃,包括400G eSR8光模塊項(xiàng)目和可實(shí)現(xiàn)互操作的1.6Tb/s光模塊標(biāo)準(zhǔn)項(xiàng)目,旨在應(yīng)對(duì)下一代人工智能基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的技術(shù)要求和互操作性挑戰(zhàn)。在單通道224G逐步商用的今天,VCSEL技術(shù)因其高功率密度、高效率和良好的光束質(zhì)量,已成為業(yè)界最新的研究熱點(diǎn)之一。IPEC期望推進(jìn)多模光纖場(chǎng)景下的高速互聯(lián)創(chuàng)新,加速?gòu)?00G到1.6T光模塊的商業(yè)化進(jìn)程,促進(jìn)全球光電產(chǎn)業(yè)健康發(fā)展。

嘉賓簡(jiǎn)介
Roy Rubenstein
Roy Rubenstein is a consultant at LightCounting and has been a part of the firm since 2006. He is also the publisher of the online magazine, Gazettabyte, and has been researching and writing about the telecom and semiconductor industries for 30 years.
Eric Bernier
Eric Bernier is the team leader for the HiSilicon Optoelectronic at Huawei Technologies Canada. Eric is responsible for exploring, developing new and innovative photonic components. Through his 20 years career, Eric developed a portfolio of more than 35 granted patents and more than 70 publications. He is known for his record breaking complex Silicon photonic systems. Prior to Huawei, Eric held the position of CTO (VP Technology) at the Canadian Advanced Network.
Muhammad Sarwar
Muhammad Sarwar is a Distinguished Global Planner at Fujitsu Network Communications, where he is a key contributor to Fujitsu’s network solutions strategy, architecture and portfolio. He is responsible for strategic planning, product roadmaps and core architecture within the optical transport portfolio. He also specializes in new product incubation and strategic program management. He earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University in New York and is author of over ten U.S. patents related to data communications, optical transport, and network security.
Tiger Ninomiya
Tiger Ninomiya is currently a Principal Technologist at Accelink USA Corporation, where he actively engages with Accelink’s latest technologies, including optical transceivers for datacom and telecom, as well as other optical components, modules, and subsystems. With over 12 years of experience in fiber optics, telecom, and datacom, he actively participates in standard groups and industry consortia, such as IEC, OIF, IEEE, ITU-T, and MSAs such as QSFP-DD, SFP-DD, OSFP, and LPO. He has held leadership roles in organizations such as IEC, TIA, and COBO. In the past, Tiger was heavily involved in the development and standardization of VSFF fiber optic connectors.
Michael Xin
Michael Xin is the VP of Sales and Marketing at CIG USA, responsible for North America Market for CIG’s Photonics Business Unit. Prior to CIG, Michael was a Director of Corporate Business Development at Oclaro, Inc. responsible for corporate strategy and M&A. He came to Oclaro through the Opnext acquisition in 2012. After obtaining his PhD, Michael was employed as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Columbia University.
Toshiyasu Ito
Toshiyasu Ito is a Fellow of Yamaichi Electronics Co., Ltd. After 2004, he began the design of Tele- communication market connectors. After 2008, he join CFP-MSA, and Making the form-factor of specification for CFP2, CFP4, CFP8, DSFP-MSA connector and Mechanisms. He is studying High speed design and Mechanical design of these connector and Mezzanine connector for 112, 224 and 448G PAM now.
Hideyuki Nasu
Hideyuki Nasu joined Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. In 1995. He has worked for parallel-optical modules for optical interconnects. He is a Fellow of Photonics Laboratory, Chiba, Japan, as well as a Guest Lecturer of Kyoto Institute of Technology. He is an author or coauthor of 77 patents and more than 250 publications. He received the Ph.D. degree from the College of Science and Technology, Nihon University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2006. He is a Fellow of Optica, Senior Member of IEEE, Senior Member of IEICE. He has been serving the OFC2026 D3 Subcommittee Chair and others. He has received 6 technical awards. He is a member of the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) and the Innovative Optical Wireless Networks (IOWN).
Carsten Eschenbaum
Carsten Eschenbaum received his Diploma and M.Eng. in “Microsystems Technology” from the university of applied science Kaiserslautern. He started his doctoral research with Prof. U. Lemmer at the Light Technology Institute (LTI) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In 2014 he became head of the sensor system group at the Light Technology Institute (LTI). The focus of his work was the development fully printed optoelectronic sensors. In 2019 he joined the institute of photonics and quantum electronics (IPQ) at KIT, heading the hybrid photonic integrated circuit group. Since 2021 he is CTO and co-founder of SilOriX GmbH. SilOriX is developing SOH devices for optical communication.
